Silwerskerm Awards: Carissa and Hen lead feature film nominations

The kykNET Silwerskerm Awards continue to celebrate the finest in South African cinema, and this year’s feature film nominees highlight the exceptional calibre of storytelling, artistry and technical achievement in the industry.

Leading the field are Carissa and Hen, with 12 and 11 nominations respectively. Close behind, Khaki Fever has secured eight nominations. The Heart is a Muscle follows with six and My f*k, Marelize! with five. Finding Optel also makes its mark with two nods.

Together, these films reflect the rich diversity of voices and genres shaping local cinema.

The winners of the feature film categories will be revealed during two events on Saturday.
