Pitch a Concept

If you have a truly South African story you’ve been burning to tell, you should enter your story idea into the Pitch to Us competition.

If your idea is selected as one of the top six, you’ll be mentored to develop it at the Silwerskerm Webinar 2020 in a workshop presented by renowned Hollywood film producer Kisha Imani Cameron.

In a live session during the webinar, the six top ideas will then be pitched to the judges and webinar attendees, who will vote for their favourite. The Pitch to Us winner, picked by the judging panel, will have their idea produced as a short film to be screened at the 2021 kykNET Silwerskerm Film Festival. The audience favourite wins a two-night stay at The Bay Hotel during the 2021 Silwerskerm Festival.
